September Monthly Meeting

Breaking Barriers to Reentry: Housing, Jobs & Services

In the District, an estimated 60,000 people have criminal records and about 8,000 of them return to the city each year after serving sentences in prison or jail — some to immediate homelessness.

Learn strategies to support citizens returning from incarceration. Hear from practitioners about developing reentry housing and the services provided, including job training and financial security.

When: Thursday, September 18 from noon – 2 p.m.   Lunch will be provided for those registered in advance!
Where: DC Housing Finance Agency (815 Florida Avenue, NW)
