Become an active participant in the Coalition by joining one of our five standing committees. To join a committee, email your contact information and the committee(s) that you would like to join to Alan Adye. Housing -- The Housing Committee has the following areas of emphasis: homeownership (single family and multi-family), rental, and special needs housing. The Committee is responsible for developing a policy agenda and educational materials related to affordable housing. Please Note: The Housing Committee has established a working group structure so members can get involved with particular issues in which they are interested. Economic Development -- The Economic Development Committee is responsible for compiling information and developing a policy agenda and educational materials on behalf of neighborhood-based economic development. Please Note: The Economic Development Committee has established a working group structure so members can get involved with particular issues in which they are interested. Program and Communications -- The Program and Communications Committee plans and schedules guest speakers, special events, and helps to develop a communications strategy for the Coalition that raises its visibility, along with the visibility of its members. Training and Capacity Building -- The Training and Capacity Building Committee develops and oversees the implementation of the Coalition's training institute and other means of building the capacity of members through education and partnership. Research -- The Research Committee assists in setting the research agenda for CNHED's Center for Practical Research and its members serve as peer reviewers to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of our publications.
