CNHED conducts public education and advocacy in a number of ways, including participating in public hearings, researching relevant issues, supporting community rallies and meeting with city officials. Over the years, CNHED has become one of the most effective advocacy organizations in the District. Our efforts have helped to gain $390 million in funding for the Housing Production Trust Fund and $52 million for the Local Rent Supplement Program.
