Join a Working Group
The working groups are grassroot efforts open to members and non-members dedicated to solving some of the most important housing and economic development issues facing Washington, DC. These groups are formed from key advocacy priorities identified by CNHED’s Housing & Economic Development Committees. Each working group is chaired by a CNHED Board member who reports the group’s strategies to the appropriate committee.

Join a Committee
CNHED’s Economic Development and Affordable Housing Committees set the policy agenda and advocacy priorities for CNHED. Co-chaired by board members, the committees also craft strategies on how to solve a wide variety of housing and economic development problems facing the Washington, DC. CNHED committees meet as issues arise and are only open to CNHED members.

Attend a Monthly Meeting
Come to a monthly meeting and see what CNHED is all about. CNHED holds monthly meetings on a variety of timely topics of special interest to members. These meetings offer an opportunity for networking and provide a forum in which members and others can discuss current community development issues, dialogue with government officials and learn about recent advocacy agendas.
