Advocacy Day May 10, 2016
CNHED and the Housing For All Campaign applauds Mayor Bowser for her investments across theContinuum of Housing and in creating economic opportunity for District residents under her proposed FY17 budget for the District for Columbia.
While we continue to enjoy unprecedented support from our elected officials for many key investments that benefit District residents, we still must be fully engaged in the budget process– we need to stay strong until the finish line when the full Council votes on the budget May 10th!
9:00 am Gather on the steps of the Wilson Building (1350 Pennsylvania Ave. NW) – ROOM 120
We will be a bright yellow presence for Councilmembers and the public to see as they enter the Wilson Building.
9:30 am Program begins. Councilmembers are invited to make remarks.
10:30 am Meetings with Council and Committee staff.
Although the Councilmembers themselves will likely be unavailable, we will meet with legislative staff from Council and Committee offices to reiterate our priorities.
