Join a Working Group

The working groups are open to members and non-members dedicated to solving some of the most important housing and economic development issues facing Washington, DC. These groups are formed from key advocacy priorities identified by CNHED’s Housing Committee and Economic Development Committee. Each working group is chaired by a CNHED Board member who reports the group’s strategies to the appropriate committee.

Join a Committee


CNHED’s Economic Development Committee and Housing Committee set the policy agenda and advocacy priorities for CNHED.  Chaired by board members, the committees also craft strategies for working to solve a wide variety of housing and economic development problems facing Washington, DC.  CNHED committees are only open to CNHED members.

Attend a Monthly Meeting

Come to a monthly meeting and see what CNHED is all about. CNHED holds monthly meetings on a variety of timely topics of special interest to members. These meetings offer opportunities for networking and provide a forum in which members and others can discuss current community development issues, dialogue with government officials and learn about current advocacy agendas.
